We are now beginning early conversations with businesses and organisations that may be interested in joining the future Project Regeneration community.
The current plans include a range of proposed commercial, retail and office spaces, from approximately 150 sq ft for a small shop, studio, treatment room or individual office, through to commercial spaces of anything up to approximately 3,000 sq ft.
The Sustainable Building & Renewable Energy Center
At the heart of Project Regeneration will be the Sustainable Building & Renewable Energy Center, a working community for businesses, professionals and organisations helping to create a more sustainable future.
The Center will offer flexible space, from individual workspaces through to approximately 10,000 sq ft, for architects, engineers, renewable-energy businesses, green-building specialists, environmental organisations, educators and innovators.
This will be far more than a conventional place to work. As part of Project Regeneration’s Living Laboratory, future occupants will work alongside a live sustainability project and learn directly from the renewable-energy systems, sustainable materials and low-energy building methods being used across the campus.
The Center will create opportunities to connect with complementary businesses, share knowledge, collaborate on projects and contribute to training, demonstrations and events. Because we are beginning conversations before construction starts, there may also be opportunities to shape individual spaces and shared facilities around the needs of future tenants.Regeneration’s Living Laboratory: a real development exploring how historic buildings and new construction can reduce energy use, move away from fossil fuels and provide healthier, more efficient places to live and work.
Commercial and Retail Space
Our ambition is to create one of the most distinctive mixed-use developments in the Catskills: a place that supports local businesses, creates green jobs, provides much-needed homes and demonstrates how historic buildings and new construction can work together to reduce energy use and reliance on fossil fuels.
Project Regeneration is intended to be more than a collection of buildings. It will be a connected community where businesses, residents, practitioners, educators and organisations can work alongside one another in a beautiful, walkable setting close to the center of Woodstock.
The proposed three-acre campus will bring together commercial and retail spaces, offices, energy-efficient homes, community facilities and publicly accessible green space. Historic buildings will be carefully restored and adapted, alongside proposed new buildings designed for a more sustainable future.
